A national tour highlighting the successes of drug courts and other problem-solving courts will make stops at two northern Indiana drug courts this month.

The All Rise America National Drug Court Month Roadtrip began with a kickoff Monday in California. The National Association of Drug Court Professionals launched a 3,500-mile RV trip that will highlight 25 communities where drug courts, DUI courts and veterans courts are putting treatment ahead of incarceration.

The tour will visit drug court graduations in Gary at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17 and in Portage at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 20.

Every stop of the tour will feature events at local treatment courts and highlight inspiring stories of justice reform and personal recovery, according to a statement announcing the event. For more information, visit www.allriseamerica.org.
