Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will focus on the troubled country of Ukraine during an upcoming lecture presented through the International Student Speaker Series.

Prof. Viktoriia Serediuk-Buz, a Fulbright Fellow from Yaroslav the Wise National Law University in Ukraine who is currently studying at IU McKinney School of Law, will be the keynote speaker in the lecture, “Media Freedom in Ukraine: Legal Aspects and A Media Practitioner’s Perspectives.”

The event will start at 4:30 p.m. March 13 in the Wynne Courtroom of Inlow Hall, 530 W. New York St., Indianapolis. A reception will follow at 5:30 p.m. One hour of Indiana CLE will be available.

Joining Serediuk-Buz will be McKinney student Rebecca Berfanger who will give the journalist’s perspective. McKinney Associate Dean for International Affairs Karen Bravo will moderate.
