The DTCI Paralegal Section Summer Social was held July 17 at The Slippery Noodle Inn in Indianapolis.  Twenty current and prospective members of the section attended to hear DTCI director Kevin Tyra speak – and to take advantage of the complimentary refreshments offered by the event sponsor, Connor Reporting.

Mr. Tyra briefly spoke to the group about the importance of networking, attending the annual convention, and sharing their input regarding CLE and other events to enhance the DTCI Paralegal Section. Debi Binkley, section chair, distributed membership applications, handouts on the benefits of membership, Phil Kalamaros’ recent article “Invest in Yourself to Build Practice and Reputation,” and information about the Aug. 15 Women in the Law Lunch & Live Webinar: “Top Habits of Successful Women Rainmakers.”

Attendees appreciated the opportunity to become better acquainted and to learn more about DTCI; many commented on the outstanding CLE that was available to them at DTCI meetings.

DTCI paralegal members receive all the benefits of attorney members and are always invited to attend attorney events.
