As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndiana Chief Justice Loretta Rush is asking lawyers and judges to nominate teachers for a free one-day workshop focusing on the work of the state’s courts.
The program Aug. 31 will include a Supreme Court oral argument, Statehouse tours, lunch with members of the court and information about court programs. The program is limited to 60 participants and designed for teachers in grades 4-12. Educators will receive a gas stipend, educational materials and a certificate of attendance for six hours of workshop time. A limited number of hotel reimbursements are available for teachers traveling from outside Marion and surrounding counties.
