A former northern Indiana teacher and wrestling coach will serve 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges alleging he videotaped naked boys in a locker room.

Elkhart Superior Court Judge Teresa Cataldo also sentenced James Iannarelli of Elkhart to spend five years in community corrections and 10 years on probation Thursday. He pleaded guilty in May to three counts of vicarious sexual gratification and four counts of child exploitation.

The Elkhart Truth reports the mother of one of the victim's testified at the sentencing hearing that she lamented trusting Iannarelli.

The 34-year-old Iannarelli was a middle school teacher and a wrestling coach at Elkhart Memorial High School when he was arrested in December 2014 after one of his wrestlers found on his iPad videos of boys showering.
