The American Lawyers Public Image Association will attempt the break the internet next month during the 16th annual Love Your Lawyer Day celebration.

As part of Love Your Lawyer Day, an annual attorney appreciation event sponsored by the ALPIA, social media users across the country are encouraged to log into their favorite social media site and share a post with the hashtag #LoveYourLawyerDay at exactly 11:04 a.m in their local time zones on Nov. 4.

“That’s the time to vigorously send your tweets and posts on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat,” Love Your Lawyer Day creator Nader Anise said in a statement Monday. “Let’s break the internet.”

Rather than selecting one time for social media users to share the #LoveYourLawyerDay hashtag, sharing the posts at 11:04 a.m. in all time zones will allow for a continuous show of support for legal professionals throughout the day on Nov. 4, ALPIA said in a release.

In addition to the public social media campaign, attorneys are also encouraged to offer one hour of pro bono work or to donate to their favorite charity during Love Your Lawyer Day.

Created in 2001, Love Your Lawyer Day is celebrated on the first Friday in November to recognize the work of lawyers and other legal professionals. The event is also recognized by the American Bar Association Law Practice Council.
