Details of attorneys’ and judges’ actions for which they are being disciplined by the Supreme Court will be included unless they are not a matter of public record under the court’s rules.
Suspension
Samuel G. Vazanellis, of Lake County, was suspended by the Indiana Supreme Court Dec. 15 for noncooperation regarding two grievance investigations by the Disciplinary Commission. He must also pay $526.30 for the costs of prosecuting one of the proceedings.
Fronse W. Smith Jr., of St. Joseph County, was suspended by the Indiana Supreme Court Dec. 15 due to his 2015 conviction of Level 6 felony intimidation. Smith was already under suspension for continuing legal education noncompliance and dues nonpayment.
Resignation
Courtney Williams Krudy, of Johnson County, resigned from the Indiana bar effective Dec. 16. Any pending disciplinary actions against her are dismissed as moot. Krudy must wait at least five years to petition for reinstatement. The costs of the proceeding are assessed against her.•
