‘Tis the season to clean out your closet! From IndyBar’s Law Student Division and Young Lawyers Division, it’s once again time to help get central Indiana students “Suited Up” for success. The Suited Up program is a partnership with Starfish Initiative and is aimed at providing college-bound high school students (men and women) from low-income households with dress clothes.

All clothing will be donated by IndyBar members. All sizes of suits, dress shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes, ties, and whatever else a young person might need to look the part of an aspiring young professional are needed. Through January 27, 2017, donations will be collected at the following locations:

IndyBar Office
Faegre Baker Daniels LLP
Lewis Wagner LLP
Coots Henke & Wheeler PC
Barnes & Thornburg LLP
Krieg DeVault LLP Carmel Office
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP

Once the clothing drive is finished, items will be organized and distributed to the students. Lewis Wagner LLP has kindly offered space for storage of all donated dress clothes once the drive is finished. Men’s Wearhouse will provide tailoring services and Classic Cleaners will provide dry cleaning services. Hogan Transfer & Storage Corp. has provided the collection boxes.

The program will conclude in late April 2017 with an event for the students and their families where students will receive their suits and attend a session on interview and professionalism tips.•
