LSC said Thursday that President Donald Trump has announced plans to nominate six people to the LSC board, including Abigail Kuzma, an Indianapolis attorney and former director and chief counsel for consumer protection in the Indiana Attorney General’s office. Kuzma – who founded the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic – currently serves as a nondirector member of LSC’s Governance and Performance Review and Delivery of Legal Services Committees.
Aside from Kuzma, Trump announced plans to nominate five other board members, including:
• Robert J. Grey, Jr., current board member and retired senior counsel at Hunton & Williams
• John G. Levi, current chairman of the board and partner at Sidley Austin, Chicago
• John G. Malcom, vice president of the Institute for Constitutional Government and director of the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation
• Frank X. Neuner, Jr., founder and managing partner at NeunerPate, Lafayette, Louisiana
• Gloria Valencia-Weber, current board member and emeritus professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law
