The Johnson County prosecutor says more than 100 people are facing drug charges.

Prosecutor Brad Cooper said Thursday that 120 people face charges for dealing methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana or other drugs.

Cooper said more than 60 of those charged were arrested Thursday morning. He also said he believes the charges will reduce the county’s crime rate over the next few months.

A year ago, the prosecutor’s office charged 63 people in drug raids.
