Following his prison sentence, 44-year-old Lawrence Powell will serve four years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana.
According to court records, in July 2022, a search warrant was executed on Powell’s house, which resulted in the recovery of more than 800 grams of methamphetamine and three loaded guns.
His case was prosecuted in the Indiana’s Northern District Court as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program that brings law enforcement and communities together to reduce violent crime and gun violence.
The case is United States of America v. Powell, 3:22-cr-69.
