Two attorneys suspended for failing to cooperate with state disciplinary commission

Two Indiana attorneys have been suspended from the practice of law for failing to cooperate with the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission’s investigation into grievances against them. 

Attorney Ronald Wright of Carmel-based Wright & Associates, PC has been immediately suspended after failing to submit written responses to pending allegations of professional misconduct against him.  

No public documents provided any further details about the allegations against him. Wright did not immediately respond to The Indiana Lawyer’s request for comment.

Wright’s suspension will continue until the disciplinary commission’s executive director certifies to the court that he has fully cooperated with the investigation, or until further order of the court.  

Wright must fulfill the duties of a suspended attorney, which includes reimbursing the commission $530 for the costs of his proceeding. 

His case is In the Matter of: Ronald A. Wright, 25S-DI-150.

Attorney Allison Martinez Wheeler has also been immediately suspended for failing to cooperate with the commission’s investigation of misconduct allegations against her.

No public documents provided any further details about those allegations. Contact information for Wheeler could not immediately be found.

According to online business records, Wheeler was an attorney for Wheeler Law Firm LLC in Indianapolis. Records at the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office show the limited liability corporation has been dissolved.  

Wheeler previously was suspended for continuing legal education noncompliance and nonpayment of disciplinary costs. She must fulfill the continuing duties of a suspended attorney, which includes reimbursing the commission $541 for the costs of her proceedings.  

Her case is In the Matter of: Allison Martinez-Wheeler, 25S-DI-93 and 25S-DI-94.
