Warren Circuit Judge Hunter Reece

Warren Circuit Court Judge Hunter Reece has been appointed to the board of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute by Gov. Mike Braun.

The institute is the state planning agency for criminal justice, juvenile justice, traffic safety and victim services. It develops long-range strategies for the administration of Indiana’s criminal and juvenile justice systems and administers state and federal funds to carry out the strategies.

Reece was appointed to fill a vacant seat for a term expiring in December and could be reappointed to four-year term after that.

Reece previously has worked as a public defender, deputy prosecutor and a sergeant with the Indiana State Police.
