The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana’s First Wednesday discussion on Aug. 3 is “POLICE: Use of Force – Crossing the Threshold.”

The discussion panel is scheduled to include Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry; federal defender William Marsh; and Larry Landis, executive director of the Indiana Public Defender Council. A yet-to-be named representative from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 86 will also be on the panel. The discussion will be moderated by Amos Brown, who has an afternoon talk show on Indianapolis radio. The event is from noon to 12:50 p.m. at WFYI Studios, 1630 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
