The Indiana Supreme Court has certified and recertified several senior judges for 2020 and 2021.

Justices on Monday approved the certification of senior judge status for Floyd Superior Judge Susan Orth, Jennings Circuit Court Judge Jonathan Webster and Vanderburgh Superior Judge Robert Tornatta.

All three senior judges met the qualifications for certification under Indiana Code § 33-27-4-1, according to separate orders issued by Chief Justice Loretta Rush. Tornatta will maintain his senior status beginning April 6, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2020. Webster and Orth will maintain their status beginning Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021.

Meanwhile, judicial officers Eugene Stewart and Thomas Webber Sr. have been recertified as senior judges by the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission for 2020. The judges will retain their senior status through Dec. 31, according to the Supreme Court.
