The Indianapolis Bar Association is saddened to note the passing of Magistrate Deborah Shook on Wednesday, August 25. Mag. Shook had recently taken senior judge status after serving as a Marion Superior Court magistrate since 2003; she had been in private practice for more than 20 years before her appointment to the bench. She was an active member of the local legal community for many years, serving in a variety of roles for both the association and the foundation. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, September 10.
