The Indiana Supreme Court reinstated Aftin R. Brown effective July 1, according to a Tuesday order.
Brown was suspended June 29 after she failed to respond to a show-cause order regarding the investigation of a grievance against her. Brown asked for more time to respond to a demand letter from the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, but more than one month passed and she still had not cooperated.
But on July 1, the commission filed a certification of compliance indicating that Brown had cooperated with the investigation. Her suspension was terminated effective the same day.
