Gov. Mitch Daniels has appointed South Bend attorney Margot Fisher Reagan to St. Joseph Superior Court to replace the retired Judge William T. Means.

Reagan has been in private practice since 1989 and is partner at Tuesley Hall Konopa. She also had served for two years as law clerk to Judge Allen Sharp in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Reagan is a member of the St. Joseph County Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.

Reagan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School. She was one of five candidates nominated by the St. Joseph County Judicial Nominating Commission to replace Judge Means, who retired Sept. 30. Reagan is expected to take the bench Nov. 10.
