The Southern District of Indiana has rescheduled a Black History Month event that had been postponed because of inclement weather in February.
U.S. Judge Ann Claire Williams of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals will be the keynote speaker at the April 11 event, which begins at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 243 of the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse at 46 E. Ohio St. in Indianapolis.
Musical entertainment will also be provided by Brian Thompson, a saxophonist and eighth-grade student at Broad Ripple Magnet High School for the Arts and Humanities. The program is free and open to the public.
