The ACLU of Indiana and NUVO managing editor Jim Poyser will lead a panel discussion, “Environmental Justice: Whose air/food/water is it, anyway?” at its First Wednesday event April 4.
The panel is comprised of Kim Ferraro, Hoosier Environmental Council; Pamela Martin, associate professor and director of the Center for Earth and Environmental Sciences at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis; John Gibson, project coordinator of Earth Charter Indiana’s collaborative bicentennial initiative, “Sustainable Indiana 2016”; and Nathaniel Jackson, executive chef at IUPUI.
The discussion begins at noon at WFYI, Reuben Community Room, 1630 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
First Wednesdays is a 50-minute discussion about topics on the mind of Indiana residents, where community leaders share their insight and expertise. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.
