Jackson County joins Odyssey

May 31, 2012

Jackson County is the latest county to go online with the case management system, Odyssey, which is implemented by the Indiana Supreme Court’s Division of State Court Administration’s Judicial Technology and Automation Committee.

Odyssey connects county courts, clerks, law enforcement and other agencies throughout the state. Jackson Superior Judge Bruce Markell III said Odyssey is a huge improvement for the county as users worried the old system would crash.

There are 122 courts and 41 counties using Odyssey, according to the Supreme Court.
