The St. Thomas More Society of Indianapolis will hold its Red Mass at St. John Catholic Church Oct. 9 in downtown Indianapolis. The Mass is ecumenical in nature and celebrated by judges and lawyers of all faiths.

Following the 5:30 p.m. Mass, a reception and dinner will be held at Crowne Plaza Union Station. At the dinner, Marian University President Daniel J. Elsener will receive the Man for All Seasons Award from the society. The award is given annually to the person whose life and work exemplifies the ideals of St. Thomas More, who was an English lawyer, author and statesman.

A limited number of tickets are available for the dinner. Contact Ida Lamberti at 317-236-1502 or [email protected] for reservations. For more information on the St. Thomas More Society, contact vice president and membership chair Patrick Olmstead at 317-822-4400 or [email protected].
