The Indiana Supreme Court has certified two new senior judges to serve in Indiana’s trial courts.

Chief Justice Loretta Rush, acting as chair of the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission, approved Donald G. Hendrickson and Nancy L. Gettinger as senior judges in two Friday orders. Hendrickson is the former judge of the Warrick Circuit Court, while Gettinger is a magistrate in LaPorte Superior Court.

Both judges were found to be qualified to serve as senior judges pursuant to Indiana Code section 33-23-3-2. Hendrickson’s senior judgeship will run from Feb. 8 through Dec. 31, while Gettinger will serve from April 1 to Dec. 31.
