Electronic filing is now available in more than 40 civil and criminal case types in Howard circuit and superior courts. That leaves just three more counties scheduled to make the switch to e-filing this year.

Howard County instituted voluntary e-filing Friday and will require mandatory e-filing on June 18 for attorneys filing in those courts. Only Clinton, Pike and Sullivan counties remain to make the transition to e-filing before 2019 comes to an end.

Up next are Clinton and Pike counties, both scheduled to voluntarily go live May 17 and be required in July. Circuit and superior courts in Sullivan County will make the switch in August, requiring mandatory e-filing in October. Information about where e-filing is already available or scheduled to be implemented is available here.
