The eight Marion County Superior Court judges appearing on the ballot this fall have been endorsed for retention by the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee.

The committee deemed the judges qualified after an application and interview process that began in January and is required by law. The review panel included Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush and Chief Judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals Robert Altice Jr.

The judges endorsed for retention were: Stephen Creason, Charnette Garner, Danielle Gaughan, Jennifer Harrison, Marie Kern, Jeffrey Marchal, Charles Miller and Cynthia Oetjen.

Voters have the choice in November to retain the judges or remove them from the bench.
