In his new role, partner Tyler Ochs will represent clients from a range of commercial real estate matters with a focus on development, financing and land use issues. He counsels developers, lenders and businesses on all aspects of real estate transactions.
Ochs also represents developers in projects like renewable energy and large-scale data center development.
“We are excited to have Tyler join our real estate group,” said Aaron Dixon, leader of Ice Miller’s real estate group. “Tyler’s background in commercial real estate meaningfully strengthens our capabilities across development, financing, and land use — three areas where our clients demand sophisticated, deal-driven counsel. We look forward to the value he will bring to our clients and to the continued growth of Ice Miller’s real estate practice.”
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Ochs structured, drafted and negotiated complex loan documents for commercial real estate transactions and worked with lenders and deal counsel to deliver legal opinion letters.
Ochs earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
Last year, Ochs was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” at The Indiana Lawyer’s 2025 Leadership in Law awards.
