IndyBar’s Helping Enrich Attorneys Lives (HEAL) Committee, in collaboration with the Marion County Bar and Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Indiana, will hold a memorial service to celebrate the life of members of the profession from 3:30-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the U.S. District Court, Courtroom 202, 46 E. Ohio St., Indianapolis, IN, 46204. Members of the association will give special tribute to each of those we’ve lost from our Indianapolis legal community.

Held every fall, this is an occasion to join in admiration and respect for colleagues in our distinguished profession, and it is also a chance to express sorrow and gratitude for individuals who have furthered the profession and given back to our Indianapolis community. Registration is appreciated but not required: www.indybar.org/memorial

__________

HEAL was created to assist lawyers, judges and paralegals in the Indianapolis metropolitan area who are personally experiencing a crisis or are affected by the crisis of someone close to that person, such as a spouse or professional colleague. The HEAL program is available to all legal professionals practicing in the Indianapolis area and is not exclusive to IndyBar members. It is available to individuals experiencing matters such as health conditions, a death of a loved one, weather- or other disaster-related events, or a major life crisis or setback.

The IndyBar’s Helping Enrich Attorneys Lives (HEAL) Committee appreciates your assistance in its efforts. Please let us know of any colleagues who pass away during the year who should be memorialized. Also, if you are interested in serving on the committee to help plan the memorial and compile the memorial booklet, we would welcome your participation.
