Dozens of diverse law students from across the country will soon travel to Indianapolis to meet leaders from Indianapolis-area law firms, agencies, courts and businesses for possible future employment and networking at the 16th annual Indianapolis Bar Association Diversity Job Fair. Indianapolis-area businesses and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with these skilled potential team members by participating in the networking events associated with the fair.

A welcome reception, attended by the future lawyers participating and an array of more than 25 local law firms and legal departments, will be Monday, July 24, at the Hilton Indianapolis, and a networking lunch on Tuesday, July 25, featuring The Hon. Mario Garcia of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, also at the Hilton Indianapolis, are open to the business community. Please visit indybar.org/events to purchase tickets.

“These are exciting opportunities to gather with a diverse pool of future lawyers and Indianapolis employers to broaden the depth of professional and personal networks. Candidates from a broad spectrum of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds, identities and physical abilities will travel to Indianapolis to meet the city’s legal and business community, interview for positions and hopefully choose to call Indy home,” said Brett Thomas, event chair from Cohen & Malad LLP.

Participation in the fair is also available as a sponsor or supporter to those seeking to support and be more visible in diversity initiatives in the city of Indianapolis. Contact Deneen Fitzgerald at [email protected] for additional information. The Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the IndyBar, once again helped make the fair and related events possible with a generous grant.•
