The IndyBar Professionalism Committee is currently soliciting nominations for the 2021 IndyBar Professionalism Award (Attorney) and IndyBar Silver Gavel Award (Judge). We’ll also present the Unsung Hero Award, given to a lawyer who goes above and beyond the call of duty and exhibits the highest level of commitment to others without the expectation of praise or recognition. Nominations are due by Wednesday, Sept. 22.
Nominate a deserving legal professional by filling out the form at indybar.org/profawards and noting why your nominee is qualified for the honor along with some examples of his or her professionalism in action. Recipients will be honored at the IndyBar Recognition Breakfast on November 3. You can register to attend the luncheon at indybar.org/events.
The Professionalism Awards were created in 2004 to summon to the spotlight lawyers and judicial officers whose careers exemplify the high calling and higher achievement of our profession in modern society.•
