IndyBar’s Legal Referral Service (LRS) is a free service that connects people in need of legal services with the Indianapolis-area attorney who best meets their legal needs! Potential clients who contact the service have various ways to receive an attorney referral: 1. Through a guided process online, or 2. over the phone.
In the last few months, there have been several technology and organization updates with the Lawyer Referral Service. These updates have provided the opportunities to add more detailed areas of law offerings to those searching for legal assistance and an overall easier onboarding process for individuals seeking legal representation.
Some of the additional areas now available through the Legal Referral System include nursing home negligence, CHINS — children in need of services — juvenile emancipation, termination of parental rights, habitual traffic violator, eminent domain, an array of business litigation services, such as fraud, white collar crime and ownership disputes and unfair competition.
However, with the introduction of new outreach services, some services such as international law did not make the transition to the new system, The goal is to streamline the legal referral services provided to benefit the user and the practitioner.
The addition of several of these expertise areas will allow for IndyBar to provide quality referrals of those who need legal assistance that is in accordance with your area of expertise.
