IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) is getting an update. After many years with our current system platform, we are moving to MemberCentral — a provider that offers more consistency to meet the needs of IndyBar members. MemberCentral currently serves as the conduit to IndyBar’s website and database.
We are excited about this system change for two reasons. First, MemberCentral will provide a more effective platform for our panelists to engage and interact with prospective clients. Having all IndyBar member data and lawyer referral service information on one system will assist our staff in being able to meet your needs and the needs of those needing LRS services, as well as giving you, as the panelist, the ability to keep information organized.
With improved organization, IndyBar predicts an increase in volume and quality of referrals.
Secondly, in lieu of calling into our office, this change will create an easier process for individuals looking for an attorney who utilizes IndyBar’s website. Without guidance, it has been discovered that users who search for an attorney on the website do not always search in the proper area of law. With this new software, the introduction of a question tree on our website will ensure each user is led to the appropriate area of law, so you will receive quality referrals of those who need legal assistance that is in accordance with your area of expertise.
