Willett

Each year, the Women and the Law Division (WLD) presents its Mentorship Award, which seeks to honor a female legal professional who’s exhibited exceptional efforts to be a mentor to other women in the profession. This year, the division has selected Germaine Willett of Ice Miller LLP as the honorable recipient.

Willett practices in Ice Miller’s Labor, Employment and Immigration Section. She focuses her practice primarily on employment litigation matters, assisting clients with employment discrimination, wage and hour, contract and other employment-related litigation.

Willet has been very active with the WLD and has served as a leader for her WLD mentor group for the past two years. One of her nominators, Katelyn Juerling, states, “Germaine successfully balances being a highly successful attorney at a large law firm while also being a mother and wife, and she helps us navigate these two worlds. This can be very difficult for young attorneys and female attorneys.”

Congratulations, Germaine! She will be honored at the WLD Mentoring Program Kick-Off Luncheon on February 20.
