Subscribe NowIBJ Media and Nexstar Inc. announced a news partnership on Friday that will move the “Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick” program to WTTV-TV Channel 4—better known locally as CBS4—on Sunday mornings starting Aug. 7.
The show will air at 8 a.m., in the time slot just before CBS4’s “IN Focus”—a local political program hosted by Dan Spehler—and leading up to “CBS Sunday Morning.”
As part of the partnership, Inside INdiana Business and the Indianapolis Business Journal will also produce short business segments that will be aired three days per week on Nexstar’s WXIN-TV Channel 59, better known as FOX59.
In addition, the partnership means IBJ and Inside INdiana Business reporters will appear on CBS4 and FOX59 news programs to provide information about breaking business stories, and stories from both TV stations will be used in IBJ’s Daily email newsletter.
“IBJ and Inside INdiana Business are known for delivering unmatched coverage of central Indiana and statewide business news. The addition of IBJ Media’s business reporting on FOX59 and CBS4 will allow us to reach an even wider audience and keep more Hoosiers informed about the ever-changing Indiana business landscape,” said Nate Feltman, CEO of IBJ Media.
According to Nexstar, Fox59 is the Indianapolis market’s most-watched news station and airs 65 hours of news each week. CBS4 is the Indianapolis market’s No. 3 station, airing 25 hours of local news weekly. CBS4 also airs Indianapolis Colts games.
Host Gerry Dick created the “Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick” program in 2000 to cover statewide business news, and the effort grew to provide news through radio, a website and email newsletters. The show is currently aired on WISH-TV Channel 8 on Sunday mornings. As part of the change, the show will shorten to 30 minutes, down from one hour.
IBJ Media acquired Inside INdiana Business in 2021.

The change only affects the Indianapolis TV market. “Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick” will continue to air on its existing network of stations in other areas of the state.
