The Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission has certified four new senior judges and recertified 21 others.

Magistrate Judge Kelly Scanlan of the Marion Superior Court and Magistrate Judge Melissa Kramer of the Marion Circuit and Superior Courts were certified as senior judges in Thursday orders.

Elsewhere in the state, Judge Darrin Dolehanty of Wayne Superior Court 3 and Judge John Marnocha of St. Joseph Superior Court 3 were also certified as senior judges.

Kramer’s term as senior judge is effective Nov. 12, 2023-Dec. 31, 2024. The other three terms are effective Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2024.

The commission also recertified 21 senior judges for terms effective Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2024.

Editor’s note: This article has been corrected to show that Kramer’s term as a senior judge begins Nov. 12.
