Indiana Court of Appeals
Dennis Robinson, et al. v. Dana Nunley, et al.
25A-TR-189
Trust. Reveres the Jasper Circuit Court’s order interpreting an amendment to the Janet L. Robinson Revocable Living Trust Agreement to have the grandchildren share a $170,993.01 payment out of the residuary of the revocable trust prior to the final distribution of the residuary. Finds the trial court interpreted the first amendment to the revocable trust to reflect an intention by Robinson to do something other than what the language of the amendment states. Attorneys for appellants: Matthew Land, Katherine Piscione. Attorneys for appellees: Jackie Starbuck, Brian Karle.

N.R. v. A.R.
25A-PO-783
Protection order. Affirms the Lake Superior Court’s findings that transitioning from the status quo of A.R. not receiving his ordered parenting time into the Intensive Outpatient Program reunification process was in the children’s best interests. Also finds the trial court did not impermissibly delegate its judicial authority to a third party with its IOP order or abuse its discretion with its division of guardian ad litem Scott Wagenblast’s fees. Reverses the portion of the trial court’s contempt order requiring the mother to pay $5,000 in father’s attorney fees within 90 days as a purge condition and remands with instructions to remove that requirement from the purge conditions. Attorney for appellant: Andrew Martin. Appellee pro se: A.R.

Richard Garrett v. State of Indiana
24A-CR-3060
Criminal. Vacates Richard Garrett’s convictions in Marion Superior Court for carrying a handgun without a license. Finds this constituted double jeopardy and that only one conviction for carrying a handgun without a license is permitted. Remands to the trial court with instructions to vacate the convictions and sentences for three of the four counts. Attorney for appellant: Matthew Anglemeyer. Attorneys for appellee: Todd Rokita, Jodi Stein.
