Indiana Court of Appeals
MGPI of Indiana, LLC v. South Dearborn Regional Sewer District
19A-PL-393
Civil plenary. Affirms the Dearborn Circuit Court’s order upholding the District Authority of Dearborn County’s ruling that upheld the adoption of a rate-setting ordinance by the South Dearborn Regional Sewer District. Finds there was a rational basis for the District Authority to uphold the ordinance and for the trial court to affirm its ruling against the challenge brought by MGPI of Indiana.

Paris Cornell v. State of Indiana
19A-CR-1101
Criminal. Affirms Paris Cornell’s aggregate 62-year sentence for conviction of murder and Level 3 felony conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Finds the sentence handed down in Vanderburgh Circuit Court was not inappropriate in light of the nature of the offenses and Cornell’s character.

Roxann R. Behnke v. James C. Behnke (mem. dec.)
19A-DN-1627
Domestic relations no children. Affirms the dissolution of Roxann and James Behnke’s marriage, as well as the Noble Superior Court’s valuation and division of property. Finds no error in the trial court’s division of property or determination that Roxann presented no credible evidence to deviate from the presumption of an equal 50/50 division. Also finds the trial court did not err in its valuation of YNot Metal, Inc.
