Court of Appeals of Indiana

Edwin Joseph Rigaud v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
22A-CR-2545
Criminal. Affirms Edwin Rigaud’s conviction for misdemeanor reckless driving. Finds the evidence presented of Riguad driving past a stationary school bus with an extended stop arm was sufficient to support the conviction. Judge Elizabeth Tavitas concurs in result without opinion.

Pierre D. Burdette n/k/a Mutahir Bey v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
22A-CR-2166
Criminal. Affirms Pierre Burdette’s conviction on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior conviction within the previous 10 years. Finds the state presented ample evidence and proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Burdette, despite knowing his driver’s license had been suspended or revoked, operated a motor vehicle on a highway while having a prior conviction within the previous 10 years.
