Expungement. Affirms the Elkhart Superior Court’s s denial of Harold Chastain’s motion to amend his expungement petition. Finds that Chastain’s request to supplement his January 2021 petition to expunge the records from case number FC-75 was not permitted under Indiana Code section 35-38-9-9(k). Sarah L. Shake v. State of Indiana and Kenneth Rogers

Civil tort. Affirms the Marion Superior Court’s entry of summary judgment in favor of the state on Sarah Shake’s negligence claim. Finds as a matter of law that Indiana State Police Trooper Daniel Organ’s reasonable pursuit of the truck cannot be said to be the proximate cause of Shake’s injuries. Steven J. Sieg v. State of Indiana

Criminal. Affirms the Washington Superior Court’s order revoking Steven Sieg’s probation for burglarizing a home and possessing methamphetamine. Finds that it is not an abuse of discretion to order execution of the entire suspended sentence when a defendant commits a new criminal offense while on probation. Attorney for appellant: Ryan Bower.
