Subscribe NowTwo attorneys have been either suspended from the practice of law or resigned completely following separate felony convictions in Fountain and Gibson counties, according to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.
Perrysville attorney Johnathon Holley’s suspension is effective immediately, according to an April 9 order. In January, Holley pleaded guilty to criminal recklessness as part of a plea agreement in Fountain Circuit Court. The Indiana Lawyer identified Holley’s original trial court case by comparing publicly available information on MyCase.
As part of his plea agreement, Holley was sentenced to 365 days with the Indiana Department of Correction with 363 days suspended and two days of jail credit.
Holley’s interim suspension will continue until further order of the court.
Winslow attorney Robert Partenheimer’s resignation from the practice was accepted by the Indiana Supreme Court on April 9.
Last November, Partenheimer pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine as part of a plea agreement. He was sentenced to one year with the Indiana Department of Correction with 11 days of jail credit.
Partenheimer was suspended from the practice in March following his plea agreement.
Also in March, Partenheimer was sentenced to serve a total of 10 years with the Indiana Department of Correction for an incident that occurred last summer. Partenheimer was found guilty last October of battery, aggravated battery, domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief in connection with an August 2025 arrest in which he seriously injured two people in a fight, according to reporting by WFIE-TV Channel 14.
Partenheimer will serve his 10-year sentence consecutively with his one-year sentence.
He must wait five years before he is able to petition for reinstatement to the practice of law.
