A Winslow attorney has been suspended from the practice of law after being found guilty of possession of methamphetamine, according to the Indiana Supreme Court.

Court documents show that Robert Partenheimer agreed to plead guilty to possession of methamphetamine in Pike Circuit Court last November. He was sentenced to one year in the Indiana Department of Correction with 11 days of jail credit.

The drug possession case — which was filed in 2023, but he wasn’t sentenced until December 2025 —  is one of several cases he’s recently been involved in as a defendant.

Partenheimer was already administratively suspended from the practice for dues nonpayment, according to the Supreme Court. His interim suspension, dated Feb. 26, will continue until further order.

Partenheimer’s sentence for possession is to be served consecutively with the sentence he is to receive in another case he was charged in, stemming from an incident last summer.

According to reporting by WFIE-TV Channel 14, Partenheimer was arrested in August 2025 for seriously injuring two people in a fight. Partenheimer was found guilty in October of battery, aggravated battery, domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.

He was scheduled to be sentenced on March 6. Sentencing information has not yet been made available in MyCase.

A separate charge for driving while suspended was filed against Partenheimer in June 2025 and tracked with the charges in his felony battery case. A status hearing for the driving while suspended matter was also set for March 6, but MyCase has not been updated to reflect any changes.

The Indiana Lawyer reached out to multiple attorneys listed as representing Partenheimer in his criminal cases for comment on his behalf. The attorney in his possession case declined to comment and the attorney in his battery case did not respond in time for publication.

The case is In the Matter of: Robert S. Partenheimer, 26S-DI-11.
