Police arrest 3 in slaying of man found along Indiana road

A man and two women are in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man whose body was found in a roadside ditch in rural northeastern Indiana.

The 27-year-old man faces a murder charge. The women, ages 34 and 20, face aiding in murder charges, state police said.

Each is from Fort Wayne. They were arrested Friday night and Saturday morning at three separate locations.

Curtis Thomas’ body was found Monday afternoon in Whitley County by a state trooper. Thomas was from Fort Wayne.
