The Indiana Court of Appeals will hear arguments in the Lake County early-voter registration appeal at 1:30 p.m. EDT Oct. 30 in the Indiana Supreme Court Courtroom, Statehouse Room 317, Indianapolis.

The plaintiffs requested last week that the Supreme Court take the consolidated case, John B. Curley, et al. v. Lake County Board of Elections and Registration, et al., No. 45A03-0810-CV-512. The Supreme Court denied the appeal, directing it to the Court of Appeals. Curley and Jim Brown are appealing the Oct. 22 order handed down by Special Judge Diane Kavadias Schneider of Lake Superior Court, which left open early-voting satellite locations in Lake County.
