South Bend attorney Joseph D. Bradley has been appointed by Chief Judge Philip P. Simon to serve as special counsel to investigate allegations of attorney misconduct that are pending before the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Northern District of Indiana.

Bradley will prosecute as necessary any allegations of misconduct in hearings convened in such matters by and before the committee. As outlined in the general order issued Aug. 9, his reasonable attorney fees and expenses will be reimbursed out of the Northern District’s Library and Court Administrative Fund.

Alison G. Fox of Baker & Daniels recently was appointed to serve as chairperson of the committee for a period of five years. Her term began July 1, 2011.
