Northern District seeks comment on local rule
The U.S. District Court for Northern District of Indiana is accepting public comment on the revision of Local Rule 72.1 – again. The Local Rules Advisory Committee recommended the revision of the local rule and had a period of public comment. Due to a clerical error, the revision of the rule wasn’t completed. Clinic’s sports law database now available
The Valparaiso Sports Law Clinic has created a free database of more than 20 years of cases, arbitration decisions, and current rules governing sports. The database covers more than 500 cases and arbitration decisions dating back to 1986 through today and has searchable versions of national and international rules governing various sports.

The Indiana Senate’s Energy and Environmental Affairs Committee Wednesday unanimously approved Senate Bill 45, which endorses Indiana’s involvement with the Great Lakes Compact.The compact would help determine across-the-board regulations of the use and security of valuable waterways that make up 20 percent of the world’s fresh water sources.
