Attorneys from the Lafayette area, including a representative from the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office, will be on hand to give a presentation and answer questions on child support and related issues during the Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County's "Legal Aid 101" presentation Wednesday.
The Indiana Supreme Court will give a total of $750,000 to 11 civil legal aid groups in January 2010.
The Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County will hold an educational presentation on housing rights at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in Lafayette.
The Indiana Court of Appeals instructed a trial court today to follow its guidance on remand to determine the amount of money to award to a man who wants to recover fees for litigation at the trial and appellate levels. The court hopes to avoid another appeal of the case.
