Several Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana have been amended. The changes are effective Jan. 1.

The following rules have been amended:
-Local Rule 23.1, Designation of “Class Action” in the Caption;

-Local Rule 37.1, Informal Conference to Settle Discovery Disputes;

-Local Rule 83.7(c), Appearance and Withdrawal of Appearance; and

-Local Criminal Rule 13.1, Sentencing Procedure.

Local Rule 37.3, Mode of Raising Discovery Disputes with the Court will be deleted.
