The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana is now accepting comments on proposed amendments to its local rules. The amendments include changing three-day deadlines to seven days under B-1002-1, Filing Requirements to Commence a Voluntary Case, and B-1017-1, Conversion and Dismissal; and shifting responsibility for giving notice of an objection to claim to the party objecting instead of the clerk, under B-3007-1, Objections to Claims: Notice.

Comment will be accepted through Sept. 30 and should be sent to Bankruptcy Clerk Kevin Dempsey, P.O. Box 44978, Indianapolis IN 46224; or to [email protected].
