Amy Karozos
The Indiana Supreme Court issued an order Monday reappointing State Public Defender Amy E. Karozos.
Karozos will serve a second four-year term beginning Jan. 13, with the term expiring on Jan. 13, 2028.
According to the Indiana Roll of Attorneys, Karozos was admitted to the state bar in 1989 and is active in good standing.
She has no prior discipline history.
The Hoosier native is a graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and was a project director for the Indiana Public Defender Council.
Prior to her appointment in 2020, she had worked as a Marion County Juvenile Court public defender.
Chief Justice Loretta Rush issued the order, with all justices concurring.
