Last April, our Indiana Legislature enacted a new process for selecting judicial officers in Marion County. Here is a general overview of how the process will work.
Please join the IndyBar’s HEAL Committee on November 1 at 3:30 p.m. in remembering, honoring and celebrating the lives of 19 members of our profession who have passed away during the previous year.
There is still time to sign up to join the IndyBar’s Professionalism Committee with our inaugural IndyBar Service Day in conjunction with Indy Do Day. The event will run from 8 a.m. until noon on Friday, September 29.
I went to Churchill Downs a couple weeks ago as part of the IndyBar Bench Bar Conference, and I bet on several horse races. But, despite my best efforts, I did not win any cash (this will not come as a shock to anyone who knows my betting skills).
