After delaying its original plan to return around Labor Day, Ice Miller LLP is calling its employees back into the office starting Nov. 8.

Attorneys and staff will be required to start working from the office on the second Monday in November, according to the firm. Eligible employees will be allowed to follow a flexible schedule of working at least three days from the office and two days remotely.

The delta variant and corresponding rise in COVID-19 cases caused Ice Miller to hold off reopening in September. Since then, the firm, which has more than 340 legal professionals in seven offices across the United States, has implemented a mandatory vaccination policy.

Ice Miller is continuing to follow the public health emergency caused by the coronavirus and will adjust its reopening plans again if needed.

Also, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath announced Friday the postponement of its 2021 Des Moines M&A Conference. Citing ongoing health and safety concerns, the firm plans to wait and reconvene the Iowa conference until 2022.
